Gabriela Pragman nació en Lima, Perú. Gabriela viene de una familia activista involucrada en cambios políticos y sociales en su país. Recibió su grado de Bachiller en Leyes y Ciencias Políticas de la Universidad San Martin de Porres de Lima. Es abogada en su país nativo y tiene numerosos certificados que complementan su educación legal y social. A los 18 años fundó el Comité de Bienestar Penitenciario (COBIPE), una organización sin fines de lucro que ayudaba a mujeres en prisión. Siempre involucrada con la población hispana, ha trabajado en la Corte de Hudson y Catskills, y para el Distrito Escolar de Poughkeepsie, como intérprete, como tutora de niños migrantes, y como trabajadora social en la región del noreste del condado de Dutchess. Gabriela es una activista comunitaria y a través de SLF trata de educar, conectar y empoderar a la comunidad hispana.

Gabriela Pragman was born in Lima, Peru. Gabriela comes from an activist family involved in political and social change in their country. She received her Bachelors in Law and Political Sciences from the University of Saint Martin de Porres in Lima. She is a lawyer in her home country and she has numerous certificates that complement her social and legal education. At 18 years old, she founded the Committee of Penitentiary Wellness (COBIPE), a non-profit organization that helped women in prison. Always involved with the Hispanic population, she has worked in both Hudson and Catskills Courts and for the School District of Poughkeepsie as an interpreter, as a tutor for migrant children and as a social worker in Northeastern Dutchess County. Gabriela is a community activist and through SLF she tries to educate, connect and empower the Hispanic community.
